Online Psychotherapy

Flexible & individually tailored

You are not alone.

Did you know…

  • one in three adults will experience a mental health condition such as depression or anxiety at some point in their life? (WHO, 2022)
  • in Germany, 27.8 % of adults are affected by a mental illness every year – approximately 17.8 million people? (DGPPN, 2024)

Psychotherapy helps.

And online therapy is effective too, as research shows:

A meta-analysis of 103 studies with over 5,000 participants concludes: video-based psychotherapy is comparable in effectiveness to in-person therapy. For cognitive behavioural therapy – my main approach – the results are especially well supported by research.

Luo et al. (2021), Journal of Psychiatric Research

In the initial session I check whether the video format is right for your situation – not every concern can responsibly be treated online only.

What online sessions also enable:

Familiar surroundings

Speak from the place where you feel at ease. Many people find it easier to open up in a familiar environment.

Flexible & accessible everywhere

Whether at home, travelling, or abroad – online therapy adapts to your life, not the other way around.

Easy to get started

No journey to an unfamiliar practice, no waiting room. For many people, the first hurdle is much easier to take online.

No time lost

No travel time, no parking, no interruption to your working day. The full hour belongs to the conversation.
